My all time fav recipe!

Ingredients:

- 250 grams of fresh ladyfingers (okra)

- 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil

- 1 onion, finely chopped

- 2 cloves of garlic, minced

- 1 teaspoon of ginger, minced

- 1 teaspoon of cumin seeds

- 1 teaspoon of coriander powder

- 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric powder

- 1/2 teaspoon of red chili powder (adjust to your spice preference)

- Salt to taste

- 1 tablespoon of lemon juice

- Fresh cilantro leaves for garnish

Instructions:

1. Wash the ladyfingers and pat them dry with a kitchen towel. Trim the tops and tails, and then slice them into thin rounds.

2. Heat the vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the cumin seeds and let them sizzle for a few seconds.

3. Add the finely chopped onion and sauté until it becomes translucent, which should take about 3-4 minutes.

4. Add the minced garlic and ginger. Continue to sauté for another minute until the raw smell disappears.

5. Stir in the coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Cook the spices with the onion mixture for about 2 minutes, stirring constantly.

6. Add the sliced ladyfingers to the pan. Stir well to coat them with the spices and onion mixture.

7. Cover the pan and let the ladyfingers cook for about 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally. The ladyfingers should become tender and slightly crispy on the outside.

8. Once the ladyfingers are cooked, drizzle them with lemon juice and give them a final stir.

9. Garnish with fresh cilantro leaves.

10. Serve your Asian-style cooked ladyfingers as a side dish with rice or flatbreads. Enjoy!

This dish has a delightful blend of spices and makes for a tasty addition to any Asian-inspired meal.
