For those unfamiliar with the term, a speed breaker—often referred to as a speed bump—is an elevated section of a road designed to reduce the speed of vehicular traffic. It serves as a safety measure aimed at decreasing vehicle speed, particularly in areas such as school zones, residential neighbourhoods, and locations with high pedestrian activity.
