Which paint is used for roads?

Well, if you are thinking that an emulsion paint or a weather shield paint is used on roads, I shall make you aware that the answer is no! The very reason for this is that no matter how high the quality of weather shield or emulsion paint you use on the roads, they will fade away or chip away within months if not days. While a weather shield paint can protect your house for years, it cannot do so on a road.

You ask why?

Because you don't walk on the walls of your house, you don't spill water, and you don't run cars and trucks on the walls. But you do on the road. Roads are vulnerable to dust, sunlight, and water. Which makes the road paint chip off.

Yet, this is not the case now.

Technology has made a way to this as well.

Technology has introduced Thermoplastic paint which is best suited for roads. This paint is made of fine minerals and resins which makes it reliable for the roads. It is then sprayed in layers to make it reliable and durable.
